Biography

Vaea Dang is a French Polynesian visual artist based in the Hudson Valley, New York.

She creates drawings, hand-perforated paper works, watercolor paintings, books, and installations rooted in everyday life.

Her work is about memory, place, and the stories people, objects, and landscapes carry.

Alongside her studio practice, she teaches drawing and watercolor workshops, develops community art projects, and publishes Inside NY Creatives.
