Statement

I am interested in the stories carried by places, objects, and living things.

My work often begins with careful observation. Whether I am drawing, perforating paper, or working in watercolor, I spend time with a subject until I begin to notice details that usually escape a first glance. That slow process shapes both the image and my understanding of it.

Growing up in French Polynesia and now living in the Hudson Valley has made me aware of how landscapes influence the way we remember, belong, and relate to the world around us. I work to preserve what they leave behind: traces, memories, relationships, before they disappear.

I move between personal work, books, installations, and community projects because I believe art can create conversations and connections.
