I am a visual artist originally from French Polynesia, now based in the Hudson Valley, New York.
My work is shaped by an awareness of ecological fragility and cultural plurality. In my homeland, some islands are slowly disappearing under rising waters — a reality that continues to inform my practice.
Drawing is at the core of what I do. Through crosshatching, travel journaling, layered ink, and more recently hand-perforated paper, I explore different ways of telling stories — building images slowly, mark by mark. Whether through accumulation of lines or through the quiet act of piercing paper to let light enter, I work through repetition, attention, and time.
I work to preserve fragile worlds.
